BB / Feathers
First post in a while due to being so busy with work, interviews and college interviews! But I'm back! And I'll be blogging a lot more now (especially to do with makeup/skincare). After working on various make-up counters for eight months I started working for Bobbi Brown temporarily and finished last weekend. I learned more than I ever imagined and met some of the nicest people. Overall I gained so much experience within the time I was a make-up artist there! The best part were the makeup lessons Bobbi Brown do where you pick up skills and knowledge really quick. It was so much fun! Anyone who says working on a busy counter isn't hard.. they have no idea. I'll be back working for various makeup counters again whilst building up my portfolio aside.
I did makeup for a shoot on Monday where the theme was 'feathers'. It went better than expected and I worked on such a doll-like model: Sophia @ Zephyr Models and a great team! The styling was also brilliant, mainly focusing on bold-statement jewellery. I worked with photographer Sophie Ellen and stylist Helen Hird who has a lovely blog which you can find here.

London Fashion Weekend 2013: 22nd February
Aside the disappointing catwalk show, I took a look around the designer and 'upcoming' designers' clothing you can purchase (which usually are at good reduced prices) but all the clothes I looked at this year were still ridiculously expensive. Still at prices such as £900 for a leather-panel top, a (real) fur waistcoat which I fell in love with, was still about £500. I think the cheapest piece of clothing I saw was around £100 and they were all from designers which aren't known. Last year I brought a Jaeger bag and purse originally over £300 for each and reduced down to £15, so this years prices were quite shocking to see. Here are some photo's I took throughout the day and of my favourite pieces I took of the -unaffordable clothing-..

Overall it is a really good event but I would just recommend in going once every few years and buying the deluxe ticket which is around £145. But again, you definitely get what you pay for!
First post: London Fashion Week 19th February 2013
I eventually got round to starting a new, personal blog and posting about Fashion Week! It's been hectic as I recently started my new job at Bobbi Brown. Another season for London Fashion Week came to a close this week and I've been more than eager to start my first post for my blog on my visit attending the last day. I tried my hardest to keep up with the majority of the collections over the past five days and my favourite designers never fail to please. I was unbelievably excited for London Fashion Week this season as I knew a few of my favourite models would be making an appearance in a huge number of shows; a few of them being Cara Delevigne, Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss. Surprisingly, all three appeared in the Burberry Prorsum show and Christopher Bailey always ceases to impresses me with his collections. Burberry Prorsum was definitely my highlight.
Whilst I visited LFW on Tuesday, my aim was to catch a glimpse of the incredible streetstyle (which I also had the chance to see last year) so, this year I made sure I caught it all on camera to look back on the detail, creativity and imagination some people go to when it comes to piecing an outfit together. Here are a few of my favourite photo's of the streetstyle I took while at Somerset House;
